This class is shaping up to be an Ayurvedic Inquiry into the Yoga Sutra's. Although I am not a academic with a deep understanding of Patanjali's Yoga Sutra's I have found that the understanding of certain sutra's can be enhanced through an Ayurvedic understanding. Please join me as we unpack the yoga sutra's according to Ayurvedic concepts.

All of life is suffering for a man of discrimination, because of the sufferings inherenat in changes and its corrupting subliminal impressions, and because of the way qualities of material nature turn against themselves.

Suffering that has not yet come can be escaped.

The moral principles are nonviolence, truthfulness, abjuration of stealing, celibacy and absence of greed.
