Stewed Apples or Pears

Use organic apples or pears

Quick method (single serving)

1.      Core 1-2 ripe apples
2.      Slice into small pieces and place in a saucepan
3.      Add ¼ cup spring water
4.      Add 2 whole cloves
5.      Cover and boil for 5 minutes
6.      Remove cloves and serve

Slow Method

1.      Core 1 ripe apple
2.      Slice into small pieces and place in saucepan
3.      Add ¼ cup spring water
4.      Add 5 whole cloves
5.      Cover pot and cook for 20-30 minutes on low heat
