A combination of treatments will be utilized that could include herbs, bodywork, diet, lifestyle, and yoga. Clients will get a long term treatment plan with specific tasks for balance.
Follow-up AWC $75 for 60 minutes.
The key to effective care is consistent and regular follow up visits. The body is undergoing constant changes. Everything that we taste, see, touch, smell, and hear creates chemical cascades and physiological responses to maintain homeostasis. The key to self-healing is consistency which is developed through creative guidance of a professional. In follow up visits I fine tune the recommendations to get the desired results of both patient and practitioner.
Ayurvedic Bodywork and Massage
Therapeutic Massage $75/60 min or $95/90 min
My training spans many modalities such as Swedish, Myofascial, Deep Tissue, NMT, Ayurvedic, Lowen systems, and others. What makes my therapy unique is a focus on assessment. Treatments include 15-30 minutes of assessment to determine the precise network of factors that appear to be causing less than optimal functioning. This assessment relies on the quality and texture of soft tissues, the range of motion of joints, and the appearance of the areas. Then a treatment program is developed for a long term solution based on the initial assessment. Treatment is focused on the clients specific concerns and utilizes the above approaches. Clients can expect a reduction in pain and improvement of mood.
Abhyanga Massage $95 for 75 minutes.
Utilizing warm oil during the massage the body is purified, rejuvenated, and relaxed. The oils used are blended specific to the constitution of the client and are medicated with balancing herbs. This is traditionally done in conjunction with Pancha Karma (Ayurvedic detoxification), but this therapy is more for managing stress and balancing the biological factors that create health.
