Green Smoothie
- Small piece of ginger
- ½ lime squeezed
- 3 leaves of kale, chard, or collards
- 2 stalks of celery
- 1 zucchini
- ½ cucumber
- Handful string beans
- Handful cilantro
- 2 cups apple juice
- 1 apple
Place in blender and blend until smooth and drink. If your blender is not strong enough, use the ingredients in a juicer to make a juice.
If you have difficulty tolerating the green smoothie you can place all of the ingredients in a saucepan and bring the apple juice to a boil and then blend the lightly blanched ingredients.
