Ayurvedic Inquiry into Yoga

This training is designed for yoga teachers or for students wanting to teach yoga. My influences include Christina Sell, Gary Kraftsow, Eknat Easwaren, and Scott Blossom. Traditionally yoga and ayurveda were taught by apprenticeship. In this training we will mimic this learning environment by providing each student a unique opportunity to explore Ayurveda in their own life. This training explores how to utilize Ayurveda to address the unique needs of an individual through the tools and techniques of yoga. It goes beyond the mainstream standardized approaches found in current yoga literature to encouraging authentic engagement and awareness that takes place when our Prana comes in contact with another. This class is usually about 12-16 hours long and includes topics such as Dosha, Elements, Gunas, cleansing practices, Dhatus, Ancient texts, and adjustments
